Databackup Ltd is a small company located on the beautiful Kapiti Coast - 50 kilometres north of Wellington (the capital of New Zealand). Databackup Ltd grew out a small computer network support company whose staff were constantly confronted with their customers need for reliable and easy to use backup solutions.
Our customers are concerned about protecting their data but they are primarily focussed on making their businesses succeed and normally time and resources are reserved for growth creation rather than disaster prevention.
That is why Databackup Ltd was formed - to provide cost effective on-line backup solutions to help our customers protect their data.
To allow Databackup Ltd staff to remotely install and maintain our backup software we developed Remote-Office. Soon we were also using the software for general IT support.
We eventually realised that other companies would also benefit from this versatile and easy to use software and decided to release Remote-Office as a stand-alone product.
